I was wondering what new young "hot" up and coming stallions anyone had opinions on.
Trying to seek out new options.

In Europe.
With the loss of Darco in Belgium all eyes are on the look out for a sire to replace him, other losses include Burgraff and also the up and coming Chellano Z. I have had my eye on the following :
The sire Massimo is definitely worth watching, with high interest in Cassini I and II, this 5yr old young sire Massimo could well be a one of consequence, son of Cassini I and I believe under the saddle of Jos Lansig we have one broodmare in foal to him and I will keep you posted with her results in the coming season.
The Winningmood, Son of Darco, Cassini I. What a combination. this Sire is stabled at Doperheide with ludo Philippaerts, is now 7rs and showing great talent.
Parco now 15 yrs has bred a number of offspring Champion foals in Belgium. With shows in Torhout, Bocholt, Alden Biezen, Grote Brogel and in France.
- Winners loose-jumping contest in Heverlee and Heusden, Belgium.
- Auction toppers in Mechelen, Evergem and Peer, Belgium.
- Booster ( Parco x Remondo ): allowed 2nd round BWP stallion-inspection and auction topper Peer 2004.
- Buvia v/h Dancorhof ( Parco x Berlioz ): youngster champion Limburg in Bocholt 2004.
- Angel v/d Hoendrik ( Parco x Indoctro ): national champion 4-years olds BWP/LRV 2004.
- Dream d'Hedje DWS ( Parco x Hedjaz ): approved stallion BWP.
Nonstop son of Darco (possibly the most popular choice to replace Darco) now 17 yrs based at Berkenbroeck in Belgium. One sire already produced of great standing is Takashi. Also Nonstop projeny were fetching high prices at the Peer Auction, the BWP Auction at Warre in Europe
Takashi now 10 years old
Should you wish to use any of the above mentioned stallions and need any help with arrangements, please let me know and I can advise or help with supply.
Of course our own graded sire
Branco Van Overis is worth having a look at commercially.
Our new graded son of nonstop,
Ennio Van Overis will go into production outside the stud in 2008.
Our coloured Darco colt
"Lightning Darco UK" bred here, is now a yearling, his semen will be available in his 4th year 2010 once graded. The Stud Ukeuro Sires are unproven in terms of their offspring. But I can confirm that our first colt from Branco is now a 2 yr old and take a look at him his moverment and temperament is outstanding already.
I hope these ideas are of interest, let me know. |

| Another young sire I would consider worth watching would be the Zangershiede stallion Balougran Z and also Air Jordan Z now under the sadlle of Rodrigo Pessoa |

Just returned from Belgium and Re the Sire Massimo . He does stand with Jos Lansik along with the famed Cumano. Who is infact 1.78 m high this converts to aprox 17.2-3 hh and Massimo well he is 1.80 m so we'll see what comes with our foal. Big sire ! |
