We are pleased to offer a Stallion Service Auction to our registered members. In the interest of providing high quality stallions at a reasonable price for mare owners, stallion owners have donated stallion services on a 50/50 basis. Winning bids will be divided equally between the stallion owner of record at the time of the auction, and the ECBG. All publicity regarding the ECGB auction will be available on the forum. Opening bids must be at least 30% of the stallion's advertised stud fee, not including the booking fee.

Rules:

This is a 50/50 Auction. The Stallion Owner will receive 50% of the funds raised by the Auction of their Stallion’s Service and the ECBG will receive 50% of the funds raised by the Auction.

Opening bids will start at 30% of the Stallion Service Fee.

It is the bidders responsibility to inquire about any additional fees, costs or funds that may be billed by the Stallion Owner in addition to the winning bid. Please check each stallion’s listing for additional fees that may apply. (Booking, collection, handling, or shipping.)

ECBG does not guarantee a Live Foal Guarantee (LFG) on winning bids. A LFG notation will be listed if it is available through the stallion owner only.

Winning bidder is determined to be the highest bidder closest to time of auction close. This time will be reflected in the bid post within the forum.

ECBG waives all liability and responsibility of any injury, sickness, disease or fatality resulting from any services purchased through our Auction, or resulting from the use of said services.

If a stallion should die or become unfit for service, it is the responsibility of the Winning Bidder and Stallion Owner to notify the ECBG immediately. Refunds will only apply until January 1, 2008 in such cases.

Bidding:

All bidding will take place in the East Coast Breeders Group Forum in the Auction {To be added at start of auction} Discussion Group.

By bidding in our Stallion Service Auction, a bidder acknowledges and consents to the risk(s) inherent in equine activities and releases the East Coast Breeders Group LLC from any and all liability.

Bidders will be required to submit the Bidder Agreement {coming soon!} in order to participate.
