ECBG Foal Inspection Futurity

 

Foal Futurity through the Inspection Results Competition

 

Rules:

     - Foals must be owned by an ECBG member at the time of birth.

     - Foals must be sired by ECBG Stallions who were listed on the Stallion Roster

       for that breeding year. (retroactive in 2007)

     - Nomination forms and payment must be received no later than October 1st of

       the birth year.

     - Inspection Results must be received within 30 days of the inspection. A legible

       copy of the inspection score must be provided to the ECBG.

     - Individual Breed Registry scores will be used to determine the final rankings.

       (For example – ISR/OLDna foals compete against other ISR/OLDna foals, RPSI

       vs. RPSI, AWR vs. AWR, etc).

     - Registries that do not utilize a numeric scoring system are currently ineligible.

     - Awards will be given to each recognized Breed Registry’s offspring for that

       calendar year at the end of the Inspection Tour for each Breed Registry.

     - The ECBG is not responsible for illegible or inaccurate scores. It is the

       responsibility of the foal owner to provide accurate and legible scores.

    -   Mare/Foal owners, please contact ECBG to check and see if your foal's sire is

       on the list of nominated stallions.

     -  If a stallion has been nominated by his owner, then please print the form below, fill out, and mail in to the office.

     -  If a stallion is not on the list, Foal owners may nominate the stallion themselves and will receive the Sire portion

       of the prize money, if their foal is the 1st or 2nd placed foal in their respective breed registry inspection rankings.

 

Prize money will be given out as follows:

     - Sire of Champion Foal: $100.00             - Sire of Reserve Champion Foal: $50.00

     - Champion Foal Owner: $100.00             - Reserve Champion Foal Owner: $50.00

     - Champion Foal Breeder: $100.00          - Reserve Champion Foal Breeder: $50.00

 

 

Prize money will be given ONLY to those members who provide a TAX ID# in order to conform to Federal Tax Laws.

1099 forms will be issued by the ECBG in order to conform to Federal Tax Laws.
